What is so unique about FFPS?
FFPS uses unique rules and training to ensure everyone has fun and success.
The FFPS equal substitution system ensures equal playing time in every position,
balanced teams ensures fairness, everyone receives an award, and coaches and parents
are taught positive methods to help build self-esteem. No parent nor is FFPS allowed
to keep scores or standings. Only the kids. We do not want undue pressure put on
the kids to perform but allow them to have FUN!!
How are teams put together?
OUR PRIMARY GOAL IS TO BALANCE TEAMS by ability so that all teams are similar
in ability. We use areas AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE, BUT BALANCE OF TEAMS IS OUR PRIMARY
GOAL. YOU'LL MEET NEW FRIENDS EVERY YEAR IN FFPS. Where the numbers are sufficient,
we will put together teams by single year of birth, i.e. all players born in 1992
play together, 1993's play together, etc.
Can I Request a friend? Is it guaranteed?
You can ONLY request 1 friend on our REGISTRATION FORM. We will try to honor
ALL requests, but, again, balancing teams is our primary mission, so requests
can be denied at FFPS discretion.
How can I help? (Coaches always NEEDED!!)
We are an ALL-VOLUNTEER program and we need coaches. We will teach you all you need
to know. If you enjoy being with children, it is a lot of fun for your WHOLE
FAMILY! Only one hour for practice and one hour for a game. A great experience for
everyone!!
